12 bolt locker

I am converting a drag car to pro-street. It has a blown BBC with Efi (1200 hp). I am looking for a locker or ??? to replace that spool. I ran a Lenco billet in a similar setup in a 9" without issues. I really don't want the expense of changing to a 9" from the 12 bolt....suggestions????

I just checked my catalog and there is a 33 spline Detroit Locker available that might hold for a while. I wouldn't count on it living a long time though but with a Moser axle the axle would probably fail before the locker does.

OK. Reading the post below "spool on the street?", it seems I might be better witha spool. I have always been told this can lead to broken axles.......Any validity to this???
