I am a sucker for 200+mph! Gives me more time to run my mouth!

I like the 1/4 but its easier for jason to keep everything in check and it also keeps it a lot more competitive for all of the differant combinations.

1/8 mile heads up racing at MIR. Sad to hear that racing is going this route in the North East in that (MIR) area, maybe the racers want it but don't expect many spectators come out to support it. You guys good luck with it. :(

1/8 mile racing is fun to watch and it makes combos somewhat equal

don't stop at 1/8 maybe they can go 330 and make it more close and exciting.

:-fire This poll is going the wrong way. Any hackers out there that can fix the problem?

It may be a moot point because if the spectators don't come because its 1/8 mile it will probably get changed back.

1/8 mile is more of a drivers race miss the tree and go home.

1/4 mile all day long. They did 1/8th mile at the ADRL event at MIR. EVERYONE was saying it would have been much better as a 1/4 mile race event.

About 95% of the ADRL drivers won't race in the 1/4 mile. That's why you didn't see many @ The Shakedown

we only ran street shoot out this year, so dont want to step on any toes but the 1/8 sure gives the small blocks a chance to compete, but a strong 275 class would also give us a place to race.

We will be there in 2009, looking forward to seeing what the beast will do on a 275 John!

Never met you before John but only heard good things about your car. I grew up with Jamie from JL Fab. in Harrisonburg and have known Rob for about 7 years.

Are you going to run some 275 races next year?

the best thing to do is ask the people running the class. We love 1/4.

Drag racing to me has always been 1/4 mile, but having watched these small tire cars for years at the finishline (1/4 mile) and how lose most are is scary, especally later in the night when the dew sets in. Every racer has to make their own judgement call, but these cars are running very fast in a 1/4 mile. Many track operators seem to think that the race runs quicker on the 1/8 mile, but at a track like MIR with it's long shut down and the reluctance to start the next part until the previous cars clear the end of the track, the 1/8 mile race seems to take longer. Time will tell on all accounts.

1/8 sucks but we will get use to it. I know the spectators want to see fast ets. and big mph. in the 1/4 They will get over it.:smt089:smt089:-D
