4.10 or 4.30 gear?????

ive got a mustang with a 434sbc,powerglide 5500 nos convertor,i shift the engine at 7500rpm's.ive got a 9in with 4.56 gears and a 29.5x10.5x15 m/t slick stock suspension.my problem is just on 175hp on my plate the engine is turning over 8000rpm's out the back door in the 1/4 mile.im gona change the gear but dont know weather to go with a 4.30 or 4.10 i dont want to loose to much on motor,and plan on shooting more nitrous in near future,and im dont want to turn that many rpms going out the other the other end. i dont run the kit in the 1/4 mile alot but want to from time to time!! mostly run 1/8 mile tire classes.also with a taller gear will it help the car stop wheelstanding as much?? any sugestions would be appreitiated!!

I'd go 4.10. You should have plenty of torque to pull it.

Put a 3.89 in it... and TURN IT UP! It'll be way more controllable..

4.10 with that power level and I agree if you put more to it then drop down to a 3.90.

thanks guys for the advice,i think im going with the 3.89,that way it will kill the bottom end,and let me run it out the back door in the 1/4 with no problem.plus i can shoot more to it from the gate!! :)
