Who is heading this up at Raceway Park?
What is this for - bracket racing or heads up?
When do you need to know?

Looking forward to hearing more about this.

One suggestion... Everyone Get everyone to go to Cecils This season so next year you can bring FACTS and CARS and NUMBERS to e-town.

Exactly!

How many cars do you think will show-up for a 7.50 Class?

Show E-Town that you can get at least 8 cars and maybe they will listen.

Gonna be hard to run 7.50's on any day but a Sunday there.

E-town is not going to have a 7.50 class they don't want to know nothing about it. we used to have a class their called quick8 and a bunch of local guys that used to run it but it got ruined and now its gone. go to cecil county md and race there 7.50 class.

I really enjoyed that class. Really great cars and close competition. It went downhill as soon as the 7.50 index was removed.

And why did it die?

Who could afford to spend 60K or more to build a car, 1K or so to make enough passes to try and win what, 2K or so?

Just didn't make sense for the guys trying to run it. If you had a money tree in your backyard, fine. If you had a job that paid you well into the six-figure range, fine. If you had money to hide from the IRS, fine.

For the average-joe, it just wasn't worth it.

Drag Radial will be the next one to die. If you're in it now and doing ok, you better find a ton of money 'cause it's gonna get really expensive just to try and keep-up.........

I'm in New York 45min away from E-town it's my home track, I would run the 7.50 index if they make one.

I have a 3/4 chassis, stock front clip, All steel car
fiberglass hood, Sonny's power, TH400 33x10.5w

It makes no sence to put any rules in a 7.50 index class.
it is what it is 7.50 index break out and you lose!!
For door cars only.
Only NHRA and NJ state Saftey rules should apply!!!
-Any engine combo
-No weight limit
-any tire size ok
-For Factory looking door cars
-must meet all NHRA and NJ State rules
-400 Pro Tree

try going to Cecils event
they have it the first sat of every month
its the the class that u are talking about exactly
no other track will support this until the class grows again
go there u will enjoy just being there its a huge event and it draws a huge crowd too

to bad the class is there now and only a few has showed up yet
hope its due to being early in the year
this class can really take off just like the 8.50 has
