New timing system is junk
I have 10 time slips from the all street shootout everyone of them has
at least 1 or more times or mph's missing
also on 1 single pass i had to backout of the beems 3 times and restage
because they could not get the tree to come down for a single run
oh yeh -- so i don't get bashed

Sounds like you have a bad weekend Jim sorry to hier that I couldn't make it up so I won't pretend to know whats up with the timing system maybe a glitch with being new and all not sure, you are the first to say anything about it on all the other boards everyone has said what a good time it was and everything was perfect except for the weather, can't please everyone and since it's not my event I have no control over it, good thing we have 4 months to work the bugs out for the Windsor shootout. ;)

I was at St.Thomas Dragway this weekend. The track is looking really good and everyone was happy with what St. Thomas has done to improve the track. By the looks of things everything will be good to go for Sept..
A woman stole the show Saturday in her 1983 Mazda to take the victory Saturday with a 10.4 sec pass. She was consistent all day.

Gary Potyok runs the OSCA 9.90 class so it couldn't have been that bad. If it's any consolation to you they are saying that TMP was terrible too, I would have to go with constant rain for two weeks as to atleast part of the problem.

The trap speed can be set either way with a flip of a switch so don't worry it will be MPH for the Windsor shootout :)
