I've converted the car to manual brakes, new cyl, dist block. The pedal will pump & hold pressure, but when you first push the pedal it goes to the floor. I've used a pump to bleed the system. The driver side caliper seems to pull less fluid than the passenger side with the pump. Could it be a caliper? Any ideas? Thanks!!

My guess is the M/C is to small,

What M/C and what brakes are you using front and rear?

SVO cyl. I've used them on several car with no problem. I coverted this car from a 4 lug to a 5 lug. I'm going to bleed it one more time. some one told me to jack the car up on whatever end your bleeding. Said it will help the air move up & out. I was also told to tap the caliper with a dead blow hammer before opening the bleed screw.

Is it stock 4 wheel disc? stock disc front Drum Rear?

Aftermarket Brakes??

when I run into this problem I hook a hose to the bleeder, place it into a bottle with fluid in it and then pump the brakes...

It is pretty tough o trap air in a brake system but I have seen it happen
