Cam Sync 7555

When I use the 7555 I know it detects the #1 cylinder, but do I still need to program the firing order ? I have the 7530 box and I can't find a pop up window for sequence.

The 7530 doesn’t have the ability to configure the firing order. The SparkSeq number refers to the cylinder firing sequence not the actual cylinder number. The CamSync input identifies SparkSeq1. For example: If your application is typical Chevrolet 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2- firing order, the SparkSeq would refer as follows:

SparkSeq: --1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Firing Order: 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2


The ability to configure a firing order was implemented into the 7530T Ignition along with other Digital 7 Ignitions.
