This happened twice this summer, all the ring gear teeth get cracks then fail. 1st set was oem dana, 2nd set were richmonds with a strange spool. Will a pro gear fix this? (4.10 gear)

What is the weight, 60' time, HP range of the car in question? I have a 3400lb chassis going 8.70's on a OEM Dana 60 gear, 4.10 ratio.

close to 6000lbs GMC Yukon , Steve Morris 572 F2 motor, I don't know the 60 ft time but it will pull the front tires in the dirt. I have always run 9" stuff in my drag cars. The pattern looks good, am I setting them up wrong?

This motor went 7.80's in a 3700lbs car

Thats a very heavy and a very powerful combination. I would recomend a Dana 60 in the front and Dana 80 in the rear. The Dana 80 has a 12.5" ring gear and huge pinion bearings to handle more load. Your just simply over powering the rear.
