I have found that there are some that are "internally lined" & some that are not. is there any advantage/dis-advantage one over the other?

You mean ones that have a straight piece welded inside the bellows?

I prefer that style, with the tube, it will help keep the flow smooth(er), as compared to the bellows with no tube. Just make sure you install it in the right direction.

Heck if I know. the one guy I talked with said that he has one that is not internally lined, but that he has some new ones coming that are. I guess I gotta find someone to show me a picture of the insides of one of these things. maybe its time for a trip to the muffin shop to take a look.

anyone have one of these handy so I can see what it looks like inside?

This one is from SPD very nice piece but pricey about $200 a piece
