"I don't want to cut into some of these TV shows that are getting ready to air, for the sake of the economy."
President Bush said at Thursday's news conference

"It's in our country's interests to find those who would do harm to us and get them out of harm's way."
George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., April 28, 2005

"We have enough coal to last for 250 years, yet coal also prevents an environmental challenge."
George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., April 20, 2005

"Part of the facts is understanding we have a problem, and part of the facts is what you're going to do about it."
George W. Bush, Kirtland, Ohio, April 15, 2005

"I'm going to spend a lot of time on Social Security. I enjoy it. I enjoy taking on the issue. I guess, it's the Mother in me."
George W. Bush, Washington D.C., April 14, 2005

"We look forward to analyzing and working with legislation that will make — it would hope — put a free press's mind at ease that you're not being denied information you shouldn't see."
George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., April 14, 2005

"I want to thank you for the importance that you've shown for education and literacy."
George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., April 13, 2005

"I understand there's a suspicion that we—we're too security-conscience."
George W. Bush, Washington D.C., April 14, 2005

There is a lot more!!! LMFAO

I'll take a poor speaker any day of the week who is attempting to be a leader, over a good speaker who is a follower. But that's just me, I realize most folks in this screwed up nation want our leaders to be followers of polls and infomercials....

And the Thursday night comment, was being sarcastic.... that was a comment out of frustration... as again, this screwed up nation of lazy fat consumers would rather watch Friends, and surf, and be ignorant in their comfy home and let gov't make all their decisions for them, and then cry and whine about it rather than make an effort to pay attention to what's going on. We are truely dumb americans.

Bill Clinton's words of wisdom (as defined in the Clinton Dictionary)

"The road to tyranny, we must remember, begins with the destruction of the truth." from a speech at the University of Connecticut, Oct 15, 1997.

"You can't say you love your country and hate your government." - Bill Clinton, 1995 (After the OKC bombing)

"A lot of wonderful people love their country and hate the military." - Bill Clinton, 1969 (Letter to the National Guard)

"I think the IRS functions better today than it did 5 years ago." Bill Clinton, 9/30/97. Reported on CNN

"Just try to imagine what it would be like to be 300 million years old." -- President Clinton in Ashe County, N.C. He was speaking on the banks of the New River, which scientists say is the oldest river in the United States.

"You know the one thing that's wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say."
President William Clinton addressing the people of Philadelphia, May 28, 1993 in the Courtyard, City Hall, Philadelphia, PA

"...with barely 700 days left in the 20th century..."
President Clinton during his State of the Union address, January 27, 1998
**note the date of the quote....3 yrs to go till the 21th century in 2001**

"When I was a younger man and had a life," stated Clinton, "I owned an El Camino pickup in the '70s. It was a real sort of Southern deal. I had Astroturf in the back. You don't want to know why, but I did."
**now being a car guy I find this utterly funny**

In his speech to the Fraternal Order of Police in Cincinnati, OH during the 1996 election, President Clinton bragged on the strong Ohio economy. However, he forgot to tell the audience that at the time Ohio had a Republican Governor, top five State officials were all Republicans, both the State House and Senate were controlled by Republicans, a Republican US Senator and 13 of 19 US Representatives were Republicans.

"The last time I checked, the Constitution said, 'of the people, by the people and for the people.' That's what the Declaration of Independence says."
President Bill Clinton, campaigning October 17, 1996.
**ahhhh that is in the Gettysburg Address!!!**

"I am the only President in who knew something about agriculture when I got there." (Bill Clinton, Washington Post, 4/26/95)
**Ummm...geee Mr. Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Harry Truman, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington who were all farmers before they were Presidents. **

"African-Americans watch the same news at night that ordinary Americans do."
President Clinton on Black Entertainment Television, November 2, 1994
****YA THINK!!!!! If you don't know...you betta aaaaaaassssskkkk somebooooooodddddddaaaaaaaay****

Yeah, Osama has the media backpedaling for him already.....can you form an original thought on your own?

I'm under no illusion that Barack Obama will turn out to be Barack Panacea. In terms of holding a major office, he's the least experienced president in memory. He'll probably screw up a lot of things, especially at first. The problems he faces–from the economic crisis to Iran's nuclear program–are just too hard.

So Borat Osama has a free pass from the media, but President Bush cannot mis-speak one syllable without you (idiots) jumping all over it......ummmmm, errrrrr, ummmmmm errrrrrrrr, uhhhhh, errrrr, ummmmm, errrrr...uhhhhhhhhhh

On a more serious note, I work in Alabama where the highest concentration of pro-McCain voters went to the polls. The owner is a thoughtful independent who supported McCain. His son is a redneck who supported McCain. The women out front still think Obama is the antichrist. The only other Obama supporter in the company is from California. We are definitely in the minority but not afraid of work since we run the technical department.

Both parties are but pawns in this political arena. Their strings are manipulated by those with the money and political power.

Obama's plan to take from the rich and give to the poor is but a very, very temporary fix and so is a bail out.

What we really need is to forgo world economy, get ride of the FED so our money has value and create jobs in this country for our own citizens. That is the only way for this country to prosper.

What??? hard to believe that the left and the right, regardless of their inconsequential differences are of the same thread and are nothing more than pawns. That the worlds monetary system ie. the World Bank, IMF receive 60 percent of their funds from the FED and as we speak, we are headed for one world currency.

What ever happened to "One nation under GOD indivisible with liberty and justice for all". We as a sovereign nation are about to go on the endangered list!
