Do you have any interest in having some index racing like the Atco program? I know you have a lot already going on down there but Atco is to far away and they run alot of their's during the week.

They have a AWESOME ET program. Speed Unlimited ET series, you should look into. I see your into Open Comp, They have a killer program, pay IHRA contingency plus cash bonus, for perfect runs, every .000 light or dead on to the thousandth run get you points in the "Ring for the queen" program. 9k diamond ring, from a sponsor, great seasonal program.

Yeah but I don't want the extra work of picking my own dial in. I think haing a set ndex levels the field a little.

I have to agree that INDEX racing is definatly the new generation of Bracket Racing. Not to mention its ALOT easier for the fans to understand (and some racers too lol)

I don't know about that a lot of fans that go to IHRA and NHRA nationals and divisionals either don't like the .90 classes or just plain don't understand the concept on index racing. I may not understand most of it but how is it easier to run a index class (like 8.50) with no electronics or throttle stops compared to running all out knowing what your car can accually go? To me it seems like electonics or no electronics is the better way to go.

Because Index Racing is also ran off of a Pro Tree. Some people (including myself) love a pro tree some guys hate it. I think the point being made is that you can go anywhere in the country and bracket race. With Mod and Top being all thats availible, if MIR had some index classes it would draw a much higher car count because of the racers who are willing to travel to index race.

the current index classes that not not nhra/ihra .90 classes are non-electronics.
So it is easier to understand since the cars don't start, the slow then pick up again.
The go all out and most of them do it to the finish. You do see some odd numbers sometimes but for the most part they are running all out.
It is a good show.
We run one for Corvettes only at Etown and can have 5-8 cars that can run the 10.0 index dead on at any given time.
We also have a day where we run for all cars, a 10, an 11 and a 12 second index.
