Currently running a 12 bolt (67) in a Malibu with factory posi and want to do a significant upgrade (spool). How much street driving will c-clip eliminators take...or should I just go to ford ends? going to stick with drums for now as I have a set of aluminum ones here somewhere.

C-clip elims. will hold up for a while, maybe 7500 miles, then they will start to leak. If you have the time get the 12 bolt style ends put on and that way you can run an inner tube seal and your brakes.

The 12 bolt pattern housing end that accepts a sealed bearing is just as good as and Ford 9 inch style housing end. I have cars going on 50,000 miles without any issues.

the big 12bolt ends(perfect square bolt pattern), not your standard passenger car ends

Ok you have the large Impala/ truck end, the bearing should be 3.150 od and depending on which axleshaft you have there are 2 didfferent ID shafts. 1.531 and 1.562.
