8.5 tire race at Ohio Valley

I am putting on An extra race in oct. on the 3rd Saturday..
with a $100. entry fee ..payout is going to be split
1 st 60 % / 40 % for the runner up .... of entry fees collected

Place to Be OHIO VALLEY
everyone will pay at the gate $10 entry and then you will find Me to enter the 8.5 class. anyone can test tune that night for the $10 entry fee. the rules have changed from what you are used to look close at them I think you will be happy....

OUTLAW 8.5
Body & Glass
-Must have working headlights and tail lights
-Full interior with stock appearing dash and two front seats. Upholstered aftermarket front seats permitted. Rear seats optional, but area must be upholstered or carpeted leaving no bare panels if seat is removed.
-Lexan prohibited except for truck rear window
-Windows must be operational
-No wheelie bars
Tires
Maximum rear slick allowed is 26 X 8.5 designation (9” as measured)
Power Adders
Single power adder only
Weights
Small block N/A – 2900 lbs
Small block single power adder – 3150 lbs
Small block non conventional head power adder - 3200
Big block N/A – 3000 lbs
Big block non conventional head NA - 3050
Big block single power adder – 3300 lbs
Add 100lbs for multi-stage NOS
Deduct 50 lbs for non-intercooled forced induction engine
4 Cylinder deduct 500 lbs from small block weight
6 Cylinder deduct 300 lbs from small block weight
Buick, Pontiac and Oldsmobile engine combinations run at small block weight

What the heck is up with 100lbs. difference from small to big block N/A you cried untill they gave you a generous weight in the OSM series and look what has happened just what I predicted! The way you like to ensure victory you need to add to the rules: car has to be a big block chevy powered black hatch mustang, if that doesn't gaurentee victory try your name has to be Vern House that should do it. If by chance you are still worried about losing go for the golden rule: If you are faster than me you can't race that works every time. :-damnit

Hey G just an FYI but we did not give anyone a weight break this year. Rules were posted last year and did not change on the weight. In fact Vern was driving Justins car earlier this year not the Mustang. Wanted to clear that up!

Turned out pretty good. Made 15hp more on q16 on avg.

Set the record last night in cheap street 5.53@ 127 . Feel like I have a little in reserve, had 10 deg out for nos also 10 out for 1.5 sec leave on 3500. Had 1.28 and 1.29 60s every pass!!
Going to try and go to Ohio Valley for Verns race.

That's it bring that ride up to Ohio valley and take home some cash there will be plenty to go around.. G Boy needs to come also he did a great job at the osm race to bad I did not get a chance to run him. He did get a chance to take down one of the best in 8.5 in the finals with Dave pouw.
