Transmission question with turbo

Which works better with a turbo motor a glide or 3 speed? Thanks

I dont see a disadvantange in a powerglide. Lynch runs one and hes the baddest man around with a turbo and 10.5s.

We've done testing as others have and found that the Glide definitely is faster in most of our applications. It loads the motor just different enough to make a large difference. There are other guys who run a 2.10 first gear in a TH400 and claim to make just as good of a gain with it. The question really is down to what you're comfortable with.
