Man, That is some nice fab work. Where do you get the flex tubes on the crossover? What diameter crossover is it anyhow? Looks good. I also like the wastegate merged pipes. Is there a reason for this type of setup?
Thanks

Sam,
You can post pictures by putting them in a photo album online. Then you can link the pictures by copying the URL from your photo album picture into your post. When you click Go Advanced there is a insert picture option. I also think that you can post pics directly as attachments when they are under 100Kb in size as well.
Eddie,
I believe Tom's cross over pipes are all 2-1/2". Stenod has the flex couplers at the shop. There are a few turbo and exhaust places that sell them as well. As for the waste gate, we typically merge off both sides of the exhaust and dump it into the down pipe. It makes the exhaust pressure even out across the cylinders when the waste gate valve opens rather than lopsiding it to one bank. Pumping it into the down pipe helps keep the noise down as well as the vacuum you get to draw off some of the pressure. It's a setup that has worked out pretty well.

I plan on getting the flex couplers for my build. Best flex Ive ever seen and SMALL! I still am waiting on my GTII 60mm to finsh the HOT side.
I was wondering about your merged pipe going to the GT II ( Looks trick). I also planned on dumping into my 5 in exhaust . I planned on welding the Wastegate exh pipe in the 5 in. in a 45 degree angle and cut in a 45degree angle. inserted about 1 inch into the 5 in. for a venturi effect to increase scavaging of the wastegate. (Kinda like header evac system) My idea may not work, but I dont think it can hurt?
Have you had much experience with the new gen GT II wastegate? I have heard mixed opinions.

We have a couple cars with the GT II gates on them. No negatives to say about them so far. It's a nice piece. As far as the merge into the turbo flange and the GT II, we hand form those. Just takes some time and patience to cut, bend and weld them all together to make it look nice. We try to aim the exhaust side of the gate to point into the flow of the downpipe. That should help with the gasses so that they mix better. Some venturi should help pull that out.

Is that the same car I saw at Powskis a few months back ? If so, it looks a little different now !

Nope. It's been at our shop for a while, waiting for the cylinder heads to get done. Just heard that those are in and it'll take about two weeks to get the engine done. So, it should come together rather quickly now.

What diameter tubing is the merge pipes going into the HKS? Also what diameter is the dump leaving the HKS? I measured the V band that came with my HKS GT II 60mm and I come up with odd size pipes. One of the V band for the inlet uses the ID of a pipe and the wastegate outlet uses the OD of a pipe.
Also did you use Stainless or mild steel on the turbo Down pipe?
Sure looks good.

Who made the the water tank/intercooler unit? Are you using a water pump that is internal to the tank or are you planning on using a traditional external water pump?

Eddie, I'll look at measuring up the pipe today when I get to the shop.
As far as the intercooler, we machined the back of the intercooler to create a return and welded the tank to it. There is a pump that mounts underneath the tank to force water through the front of the intercooler. Just wanted to try this out and see if it makes it easier to deal with. The upside is that some of the heat transfer can be done without circulating a lot of water. We just don't know how much or how well it will do it just yet. Should know in a month or two.
