Basically the MSD 7535 supports Boost applications. I have only installed one of these in a Turbo application, but has been recently changed to a MSD 7531.
The 7535 does not record Data nor does it have the Slew option. The 7531 offers both of these options along with the ability to support Boost applications. Although it doesn't specify, I assume they both run the same processor.
It seems that some of the heavy hitters in the Turbo community prefer the 7531 Ignition because it's a full featured ignition. Although all the options may not be utilized, the 7531 will give you room to grow as the Turbo technology continues to advance.
