Cam change with Trans change??

How much difference would there be in a cam depending on the trans? Say PG, 3spd auto and 5spd clutchless.

The glide and the 3-speed deal would have similarities. But a 5-speed would really look different. At least from me they would. IMHO it would be best to use an auto cam in a stick vs using a stick cam in an auto.

Dont be like me. I got a custom cam from Jay based on a 5speed combo. Swapped trannys to a auto before I even had the car running. I'm a freakin idiot.

I'm not changing trans just tring to learn. Jay will be getting my order for a new cam as soon as I can get all the needed info.
