i,m building a 25.4 round tube backhalf car , is it better to put the floor above the tubing or from below like a belly pan ??, i,m using steel as this car will be driven to cruises and the track on certain occasions and besides welding is it okay to riviot the sheetmetal to the tubing ? of should i install mounting tabs so i,m not swiss cheesing the chassis

My 25.1E car had a belly pan. The panels were dzuzed in under the lenco & welded the rest.

Our Top Sportsman car has a belly pan. Its nice, and looks great from underneath, but its super hard to keep clean from the top side. If the sheetmetal is on the top, you just wipe it down. When its underneath, and when wiping, you have to try to get down around the tubing, and in a corner where tubes meet is a PITA! HAHA
