MSD AND COIL QUESTION

First, Im working with a N/A small block ford, does it matter about location as far as where the MSD and coil are mounted, I see some people with them inside, others under the hood, I have mine mounted on the leftside inner fender, mainly because they are easy to get to and I didn't want to mount the coil on the motor because of vibration. Someone just mentioned the length of the coil wire, that's the reason for asking.:)

the left side inner fender should be fine if your worried about interference you can wired it with a shielded cable.....not sure of the part#
