Jay,i think my cam is a little small for the application. To be sure i'd like you to spec a SR cam to see what numbers come up.I won't tell you what i have now (apart from it's an SR)because i want an independant opinion on one...i'll tell you when you spec the new one to see how far out of wack we are...btw,if we are out can you make me one?when and how much?
spec is
572ci Chebbie 4.50/4.50
Dart pro1 CNC 355 heads
Edelbrock Victor 454 CNC intake
2200cfm TB
2 x 88mm holset turbos
8 to 1 compression
30psi max.
93 pump gas and street/strip
i don't know the peak HP and torque because the dyno wouldn't hold the thing...
if you want to mail me it's redvictor1@hotmail.com

You want him to design a cam for you then tell you all the data then you will decide after the fact whether you want it?? Good Luck, thats not really fair to him.

Sir.

You haven me about 1/10 of the information I need to design a camshaft properly. Asking me if what you have is big enough or too big cannot be answered if I do not know what you have. It takes me 2 to 2.5 HOURS to design a camshaft. If all you are looking for is for me to design something to see if its close in numbers to what you have, Sir I am not willing to do that. If you are willing to give me what you have now I'll be willing to say it close enough to get 'cha going or I'll say it ain't gonna work. And just looking at duration at .050 numbers and lift numbers does not mean anything either. If I design something I will not divuldge those numbers until the camshaft is on order. It weeds out the tire kickers.

I am willing to help you out. But you need to be fair on what you want to receive. I am NOT in the business of ballparking. Its a waste of time and energy. Ask anyone who has dealt with me. I am W-A-Y more exact than that.

Thanks.

probably the easiest thing tod is go to http://www.camshaftinnovations.com/ and fill out the form(s) then call Jay. There is lots of info there that he needs so if you have it all in front of you, or him, the conversation can be more "meaningful".
