SoCo Kamikaze [as a drink]:
1 1/2 parts Southern Comfort
1 part Triple Sec
1 part Lime Juice (...some like a little more or a little less)
Shake and serve over ice. Very light taste...completely unlike SoCo. Always a crowd pleaser, and no one ever makes them.

Sangria is always a hit, and simple to make. The Olive Garden version is easiest...
1 part cheap-ass sweet red wine (theirs starts as Riunite Lambrusco).
1 part simple syrup (sugar water).
Make a jug of it. Cut up one or two oranges and put in for flavor and garnish.

Around here the Asti Spomonti gets hit pretty hard by the ladies. Martini and Rossi is good, but Balotore is almost the same at half price. No mixing required.
My wife and a two of her best friends have a fondness for Kalua and cream, but watching their diet they use skim milk. Short glass good shot of Kalua and enough milk to turn it light brown and add ice to fill.

When I want sangria, I want Boone's Farm, but that's just me.
Cosmopolitan: equal measures of vodka, cranberry juice, triple sec, and lime juice. You can strain the lime juice or not, depending on personal preference. I serve it in a cocktail glass with a sugar rim. Women love the sugar rim, and it's really easy to do, but it's best done a few hours ahead of time if possible. Take a lime half and rub the rim of the glass with it. Then take a dish or bowl with regular normal everyday sugar in it, and dip the rim of the glass in the sugar. Let it dry. If you have room, you can put the glasses in the freezer.

three olives vodka cherry
three olives vodka apple
splash of sprite/7up
tastes unbeliveable and its a good light summer drink.i know its hard to belive being pretty much just vodka but it is very very good.
all else fails crown and diet coke (the artificial sweetener gets in your blood faster, gettig n you drunker faster)

best of both

If you want to keep it simple. Orange Vodka and 7up or Sprite. Simplae and adjust the Vodka to taste. Stoli is the smoothest

What's Triple Sec? Is it a mix or alcohol?
Triple sec is orange liquer. Most has alcohol, such as DeKuyper (24%). Lots of mixed drinks use it.
I could share my Long Island Iced Tea recipe, but they would be done after 1. LOL

+1 on the triple sec = orange liqueur
I think DeKuyper is fine, but my uncle insists BOLS brand is better. I think in a side-by-side triple sec only taste test, I agreed with him, but I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference once it's in a mix.

Frozen Margarita's are always good. Especially in the summer time.
1 can Minutemaid frozen limeade (small can-6oz). Don't use the typcial frozen mixers like Bacardi, etc..
6oz tequila (I recommend Sauza Hornitos-very smooth)
6oz-sprite or 7up (cold)
Empty limeade into blender, fill empty limeade container with tequila and add to blender, then refill with sprite and add to blender. Then add ice to top of blender (42oz blender) and blend. When it starts to cavitate or the top portion stops swirling, stop and shake it then blend some more. Do this several times until it's smooth. Pour into glass and top with 1/2oz (floater) of Grand Marnier or other orange liquer.
If that's too strong, back off the tequila but add more sprite to keep total liquid volume to 12oz.

That sounds pretty darn tasty and refreshing for the effort required.

Well, it's not as easy as pouring some Maker's Mark over ice, but when I'm in the mood to mess with it they do hit the spot. If it's too bitter/sour you can add a small amount of powdered sugar to sweeten it up/knock the edge off. Also, I prefer the bottle of orange liquer be kept in the freezer, helps to keep things frozen longer instead of melting the frozen concoction.

One bourbon, one shot, one beer......................
But to keep them happy try this
1 or 2 shots of Plum flavored Vodka. Store in freezer
few ounces of pink lemonade
few ounces of orange juice
stir with ice and there you go. Easy on the vodka as it sneaks up on you given the sweetness of the drink.

Lemonade and peach schnapps with fresh fruit. For the girls...
Mezcal with a beer chaser for the men!
Paralizer
1 12 oz glass FULL of ice
1part Vodka
1part Kalua
3parts light cream
3 parts Coke (as in the drink )
It tastes like a milk shake. It works great as a panty remover :smt118
Crown and coke press or dark and dirtys (dark rum and coke) for the men
What's Triple Sec? Is it a mix or alcohol?
triple sec is alcohol, almost like a syrup
light rum, sweet and sour, oj, grenadine, splash of soda or 7up and top with dark rum....... simple version of a mai tai

Although triple sec is orangey, I think it's primarily used for its extreme sweetness. You could probably substitute simple syrup (concentrated sugar water) for it in a pinch.

I've got a great recipe for jungle juice. But it's for a large group of people. You'll never taste the alcohol and it'll have you feeling "right" in no time! ;)

Irish coffee
1Tbs dark brown sugar
1 good shot of Old Bushnils Irish whiskey (important)
Double strength black coffee
Home made Whipped cream
Melt brown sugar with whiskey, then fill mug allowing room for whipped cream.
To make homemade whipped cream you need a clean bowl (no plastic. a tinge of oil will not let it fluff) Whipping cream beat till it starts to fluff then add sugar to taste ans a cap full of vanilla as you whip. Stop when the tips stand up, or you will get butter. This is something that a lot of people have not tasted with airasol whip cream around, but worth the effort.
If your not a coffee person, hot chocolate and butterscotch shnaups is good. Dab the whipped cream on that.

The deal went great!! I was asked to marry each one of them.. :p
