Looking for a cam for a 4.3l Chev V6 that is now 270 ci .
Here are the specs.
Hyd roller.
9.0-1 C.R
4.060x3.48 bore and stroke
1.6 rockers
aluminum bowtie heads
2.02x1.6 valves
brodix highrunner intake
500 cfm edelbrock blowthru
T04 Turbo and intercooled.
3" exhaust from the turbo back. Stepped from 1 3/4 to 2 1/2 from the heads.
The heads are set up to take a little over .500 lift
The car wheighs 2500lbs with driver and has a 700R4 auto.(Mazda RX7)
The current cam is a stock marine replacement and seems way to small.
What are your suggestions.

The blow through carb is too small. That is for sure.
Can you provide me with the cam specs you have now? if you don't want to post them for whatever reason, PM them to me.
Turbo engines typically don't need as much cam as you think.

No not hiding... as others say If I have nothing important to say then say nothing.
Been busy doin stuff getting ready for the new race season and digging season and most important "BENCH RACING."

What size carb do you recommend?
Remember this a 350 SBC minus 2 holes. If it were me, I'd be using a 900'ish cfm deal on a 350. 270/355 = 76.06%. 76.06 X 900cfm = 685cfm. Thus a 650 Holley is where I'd start.
Boy, you are right. That thing is teeny tiny. Nothing specific, bit if you were 210-214 at .050 on the intake, add 5 to 7 degrees on the exhaust, 500 lift on both (or close) with an IC of 112-113 and an EC of 116-117, you'll be *ok*.
