Jay, I was wondering if you have any experience with these? A buddy of mine is thinking about running these in a blown 540 on alcohol, he's concerned because he heard that if the lifters encounter valve float that the wheels are prone to disintegrate. He heard about this after ordering them, and he doesn't want to run them if this is a concern.
Thanks for your time, Jimmy

What he heard is/was accurate.
BE SURE to run the spring pressures that Schubek says to run. Lofting with those lifters will get you into trouble. But if he listens and follows directions, they are awesome pieces.
Good Luck.

Thanks for the information Jay. I will pass this on so that he can make the call whether he thinks it's worthwhile to pursue.
Thanks again, Jimmy
