Tomorrows dinner:p

Smoked Flank Steak

1.5 pounds of Flank Steak
2 TS Olive Oil
3 TS Teriyaki Sauce
4 TS Red Wine Vinegar
1 tS Fresh Ginger
1 Garlic Clove, Minced

Lightly cut slashes in the flank steak in a criss-cross pattern on both sides

Put steak in zip lock bag and add above mix.

Shake and put in fridge overnight

Smoke @ 220* F for 1-2 hours depending on the way you want it.

130* inside temp = rare
150* inside temp = medium


Dutch Oven Beef Stew

1/2# of bacon
2# Cubed steak (round, 7 bone roast, blade or chuck roast)
1# of Carrots
2# of Potatoes
2 Green Peppers
3/4 cup Soy Sauce
5 medium stalks celery
2 medium onions
4 cups of bottles tomatoes
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce

Fry beacon in Dutch Oven.
Add onions and meat- Saute brown
Add everything else

Cook for around an hour (until veggies are tender)

Remember to rotate your dutch oven to avoid hot spots

Side of potatoes

Cut potatoes around 1/4" thick and quarter
Add all season salt to taste
Cajun seasoning to taste
Butter (the real stuff not the imitation crap)
Dash of pepper

Mix the above in bowl
Lay heavy aluminum foil down and roll the sides us (as if you were making a pan)
Place potatoes in and add 2 TS of water)
Cover top and place on grill.
Turn over to cook evenly. (us can press the out side with your finger to see if they are tender.. If so they are ready to eat)
