2lb frozen hashbrowns (Southern Style)
1 cup butter (melted)
16oz Sour Cream
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1/2 onion chopped
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 cups corn flakes crumbs

Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, sour cream, soup, onion, cheese, salt and pepper.
Combine corn flakes and 1/2 cup butter and sprinkle over the potatoes.
Cover with foil and back for 30 minutes @ 350 , uncover and bake for 20 minutes

i got this same recipe from my sister, very good stuff.
everytime i make it somebody wants the recipe.

it is really good.... it tastes like a twice baked potato without the skins...

Great recipe,
I just make it for the 4th of July cook out, but I changed it a little,

get the hashbrowns with pepper and onion in them
and omit the 1/2 chopped onion, it came out bad ass.

We also add Ham to ours..

I'm actually making this today for a family birthday party. We leave out the corn flakes though.

generally have it as a side with ham.
