Hey Sparky, I have been talking to a few people and they say they have been using this AMS boost controller with great success. It seems like a really cool product with a ton of features. Here is a link to their manual of the unit. Are you familiar with this product? and if so is it all its being said it is?

I became a dealer for the AMS-1000 in November and I have sold 7 of these units so far in 2006. I simply cannot build a controller with a timer and regulator to compete with this controller. This thing is the whip!!
So the old cliché of ”if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em,”, held true.
As the link you posted points out, there are a lot of advanced features to this controller. Although it is advanced, the cool thing about the Controller is that it’s easy to navigate and work with.
A few of the options the Controller has are,
The ability to record and play back Boost Data.
Has 6 different Boost Stages to edit.
Allows you to edit a Boost Curve and you can run the Boost Curve through the AMS-1000 with out running the car.
Can detect a leak in the system.
Allows you to edit the brightness and contrast of the screen.
Comes complete with Controller, Apply and Release Solenoids, Pressure Transducer, Wiring and Instructions.A couple of unique features about the AMS-1000 that I feel are very beneficial are:
The AMS-1000 works with a Micro, this Micro is rewritable. Anytime updates are released by AMS, you can send the Controller back and have the Micro flashed with the latest and greatest updates. This is cool because you’re always up to date and you don’t have to buy a new controller to get the updates.
Another option that I think is really cool, is a mode that can be programmed in called “Hold and Wait”.
What this feature will do if programmed in is:
If you leave the line and the car begins to spin and you have to lift, the Controller will go into a “Hold and Wait State”. This means the Controller will hold the current boost level, so that when you do get back into it, you won’t be blazing the tries with a ton of boost, once the Controller receives a signal that your full throttle again, it cancels the ‘Hold and Release State” and continues with the Boost Curve.
This Controller is currently being used by Manny Buginga, Shannon Renfro, Bill Lutz, John Cunnningham, Nick Tucci, Joel Greathouse and many others. Ask any of them, it has helped their programs immensely.
Monty,
Let me know when you want one!!
I hope this helps,
Sparky
