Cam suggestions???

Hi guys, Lookin for some advice on a profile for a 511ci BBC with out of the box Brodix BB2 xtra's, Team G intake, 1150 HP carb, 14.5:1 comp, 4.25" stroke, +.400 rod, 4.375" bore in a 3100lb big tire car with a glide. Looking for max performance natural with no concern for idle characteristics or streetability. I think thats it...whatcha think??? Thanks, Chad

I did a cam about a month ago for a 509, 7500 RPM, Canfield heads (They kick MAJOR ASS!), Super Victor, 1050, 2 1/8, 2900 lb door car, Comp 947-16 springs at 2.00" I/H, and that cam was:


297.1/317.7 at .020
268.6/286.8 at .050
189.0/202.5 at .200
.468/.447 lobe lift
1.7/1.7 rockers (shaft)
796/760 gross lift
.0204/.0204 designed lash
Will run .018/.016 HOT
107.8 IC
110.4 EC
109.1 LSA
***These are the numbers directly from the Cam Dr. I have the customers permission to post these. These are propriotory lobes.......And I was in the giving mood. Its not always I hand out information like this.

I hate dynos BTW.

509, 325cc Canfield.......817hp, 663tq.

I personally think the dyno is/was broke. At 2900lbs and a glide, if it runs 9.30's N/A I'd be happy for him.
