Round 1

DRIVER R/T ET MPH

Sal Patel - 0.053 5.18 @ 144
Alex Vrettos - 0.122 4.9 @ 156

An exciting pair to watch as the first pair out in drag radial and as the announcer says, "Vrettos got his crap together". He goes low ET of the meet and Patel made another nice run as he continues to add power to the car but it wasn't enough for the world record holder.

Jason Gennaro - 0.101 5.49 @ 134
Chris Little - 0.059 5.52 @ 132

Close drag race as Little left first and Gennaro ran him down, but Little held him off by 12 thousandths of a second in some close side by side action.

Chris Evans - 0.229 5.34 @ 141
Ev Bernardo - 0.069 5.93 @ 143

Evans has had traction problems all day and Bernardo did well here last month he was here but Evans found the traction and Bernardo's car bogged off the line and was not able to run him down.

Jesse Lambert - 0.072 5.12 @ 144
Lewis Jones - 0.106 5.84 @ 128

Jones continues to struggle to find traction in that beautiful Fairlane and Lambert steps it up in that beautiful single turbo Camaro and drives away for the win.

Scott Blitzer - n/t @

Blitzer receives a single due to breakage. However he prestaged the car and then jumped through the lights receiving a red light. Official word will have to be made whether or not he is disqualified or if he will get to move on to the next round.

Richie Stine - @

Stine received the single due to breakage and just coasted down through.

Steve Drummond - 0.664 5.18 @ 139

Drummond is going to get the single due to breakage and he did not lay off and he made a nice pass and the best of the weekend for him in his small block nitrous entry.

Round 2

DRIVER R/T ET MPH

Steve Drummond - 0.110 5.19 @ 139
Chris Little - 0.056 5.22 @ 145

Drummond is uncommonly late and takes the loss on the holeshot victory to the turbo charged entry of Little who has been strong all weekend.

Jesse Lambert - 0.072 5.15 @ 145
Alex Vrettos - -0.01 5.03 @ 132

Vrettos is the odds on favorite as the record holder goes red and Lambert dodges a bullet and moves on to the next round with a stout run out the single turbo Camaro.

Chris Evans - 0.042 6.03 @ 136
Scott Bitzer - 0.169 5.11 @ 143

Evans and Bitzer square off in a battle of power. Evans slowly started to figure out his traction problems, but brings in too much power and goes into tire shake as Bitzer continues to improve on his ET for the weekend.

Richie Stine - 0.715 4.88 @ 151

WOW! Stine just goes sub 4.90's for the first time here at Cecil County and takes back the track record here at Cecil County. Incrementals 60 ft: 1.257 330ft: 3.262

Round 3

DRIVER R/T ET MPH

Scott Bitzer - 0.118 5.71 @ 107
Richie Stine - 1.060 5.33 @ 129

Bitzer and Stine face off in a battle of two big block nitrous cars. Stine left hard again and was on a pass but fell off and Bitzer's car left soft and then had a very loud pop and slowed as Stine went on for the win.

Jesse Lambert - 0.585 12.53 @ 46
Chris Little - 0.084 5.48 @ 130

Lambert's car did not leave at all and he putted down the track. Perhaps he was broke and just wanted to take the beams. Little left hard and never looked back and will not have lane choice in the finals over Stine.

Finals

DRIVER R/T ET MPH

Chris Little - 0.072 5.46 @ 130
Richie Stine - 0.117 4.95 @ 150

Chris Little has not been the fastest car out there all day but he has had enough to get it done all day long, but he comes up a bit short in the finals against one of the most lethal nitrous cars in the country. Stine does not run in the 4.80's again but has enough to get the job done and holds off Little and takes his second win of the season here at Cecil County. With that win, Stine expands his points lead in the drag radial standings.
