DRIVER R/T ET MPH
Gary Naughton - 0.610 7.33 @ 199
Ken Doak hurt the intake on the car and could not make the call. Naughton gets the single and does not take it easy and makes his fastest pass of the day.
Shawn Zubler - n/t @
Joe Schroeder - n/t @
The drama continues Schroeder could not get his blower car to fire and Zubler will get the single due to breakage but Zubler did his burnout and his car shutoff resulting in a double disqualification
Rick Righter - 0.028 7.73 @ 177
James Houston - 0.041 7.93 @ 172
Both cars almost dead even to the 330 mark. Righter had to give it a quick peddle but pulled away from Houston to take the win in his first appearance here in big tire.

Finals
DRIVER R/T ET MPH
Rick Righter - 0.510 7.80 @ 177
Gary Naughton - 0.047 7.32 @ 199
With all the DQ's and breakage we are going to skip running both cars as single and then running them against one another. This is Naughton's second consecutive final and is the odds on favorite based on power. Naughton leaves first and never looks back as he runs back to back 7.30's and is ever so close at the 200 mph mark. Either way car owner Ken Doak is jumping up and down on the starting line as both his blower car entries own the wins in the big tire class this year at Cecil County. On a side note, one must question who can stop these blower car entries in the big tire class as they are undefeated so far in big tire competition this year.
