Here are the Valleys rules. When you read through them our rules are very similar. I am trying to create parity within the two the series as i feel this would benefit both the racers and the two Orgs. So, here they are:
• Must have mufflers
• Must have working headlights and taillights
• Lexan allowed (windows do not have to function)
• Fiberglass limited to doors, hood, trunk lid, fenders and bumpers
• After market bolt on front clip allowed
• Tube Chassis limited to stock wheelbase +/- 1”
• Tube Chassis required to carry 50% on front tires
• All transmissions must use a converter
• Pro chargers are limited to a F3 series
• Turbos and Centrifugals limited to GASOLINE only
• Turbos limited to a 106mm measure from tip to tip
• **Turbo and Supercharged cars limited to 10.5X31W tire**
• **Any roots blower 8-71 and smaller can run any 15” tire**
• All 5” bore space with power adder limited to 31W tire
• No twin turbo combinations
• 2500lbs. small block N/A
• 2600lbs. big block mopar N/A(non-hemi headed)
• 2800lbs big block N/A (chevy, ford)
• 2700lbs. small block nitrous(2 stage max)
• 3100lbs. small block blowers and turbos
• 3000lbs. big block NOS with conventional heads
• 3200lbs. big block NOS non-conventional heads
• 3200lbs. big block blowers and turbos
• Add 100lbs. for 2nd stage NOS on big block
• Deduct 100lbs. for single stage plate
• Deduct 100lbs for a true 10.5" slick
• BOP combos run at small block weights
• Rules subject to revision when needed
I will look these over and compare them to what i have now. I really like the way Charlie handled the tube cars. I think that was a good decision on his part! The bottom line is i want car count. If we dont have that we dont have a race and we wont have spectators. We need more cars to get the purse up, so lets do this!
