Im working on a buddys Nova. Car weighs 3000 lbs w/ driver. Hs 355 sbc, 5300 convertor, ported Track 1's, 12.8-1 comp, dominator, Lunati solid roller 259/259 @ .050, .653/.653 on 106 LS (102 IC). TH350, 4.56 gears and 29" tires. Best et to date is a 10.58 @ 124.8. The car has always been shifted at 7200-7400. We wanted to make a small change in camshaft this year. Maybe shift in the 7600-7800 range. I have a bullet custom grind that a friend of mine wants to sell me. It is a solid roller 262/274 @ .050, 184/194 @ .200, .649/.670 on a 112 LS. Is this even in the ballpark? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much!

OR........will the 112 ls want a TON more rpm? (and/or be soggy when he gets up on the convertor?)

The Bullet cam will outrun the first cam with the RIGHT convertor. Don't pay so much attention to the LSA. Read my *sticky* post about LSA. But the duration being bigger will raise the power band. And with IC being further back, that too will raise the RPM range.

It'll be quicker, just work on the convertor!

Good Luck.
