Tomorrows event at ET Raceway will be rescheduled for August 2nd. Gate times will remain the same and are as follows:

Gates Open: 12 Noon
Time Trials: 2pm
Qualifying Starts: 3:30

With wind gusts up to 30mph, the rain they are gettin tonite and the rain supposed to get tomorrow, we felt it was better to just call it for this weekend and reschedule. Iffy weather usually means crappy spectator count too. I dont have the money to gamble lol, rather play it safe this time!

are the rules the same as the ohio valley street race ..jerry's car has a full tube chassis . they let him run with 150 lbs in the nose to make it 50 /50 on weight balamce,same as a back half car would be ...

No, they are not exactly the same. Unfortunatly we do not allow tube chassis cars at this time. Heres a link to the rules:

I sent Jerry an email reply also. There was much discussion about these rules over the winter and i dont feel it would be right to make any changes in the middle of the year.

Hehe. So far for the race this saturday at 41, we have Hupp, Stinson, Parker, Ricart and a new comer with an 80 Malibu that i know of. you coming up?

I do not have worry about bill ,his motor is toast and with all that power he has .... it is always having issuses..:rolleyes:

my car is set up to run for 2 years between freshen ups and it fits pro st rules at ohio valley and osca..

bill's car is an outlaw car and it has been built to fit their rules ..those rules do not have limits on the motors...

I have other things going this weekend and I can not make 3 races that close together spread out over that many miles...there are limits on my time and money...

1st of all ..I am commited to the ohio valley series for the whole season on the third weekend of every month and I am one of the sponsors of the class..

2nd ..would be your series ...when it's close to louisville ..

I have always avoided terra haute over the past 5 yeras because the shut down was to short and had no run off room if you had problems..

the ohio valley race is only 25 miles from my house .
the purse is guaranteed ...
1000. to win and 500. runner up
for the whole season even if only 2 cars show up...

so it makes it hard to travel ,
when I can race that close to home

Soon as i get them scanned and posted, they will be in the forums and the points will be updated. havent had a chance since i got home at 4am sunday & really didnt feel like touching it, had to work today & tomorrow im busy as well. hopefully by the end of the week, usually it doesnt take me this long but life happens!

Kelly, I had a good time at the race. Thanks for giving us a place to race and spend some time with my family. I believe most if not all the racers had a good time Saturday. I could tell you were disappointed with the overall race. Got to stay positive, I believe more cars will show up for the next race. If your not going to Joliet, you should ride over to the Ohio Valley race. Good time to pass out some flyers for the ET race. Jason

I swear lol. I was headed to Bowling Green there for a min lol. Luckily i saw a road i knew and cut over to 74 from 65 via 44. I was out in the boonies and glad i had the 9 with me. Before that i had some ass in a blue pickup almost hit me several times on 65. He must have been drunk or something. Had my piece out for the 2nd time that night! First was at the track lol.

As for the track itself, ehh can you say what groove??? Im not tryin to start a bashing thread but things have not been the same there in awhile, its a shame.

Hey Jason... i hope everyone for the most part had a good time. I did also cuz i got to see everyone but yea i was definately disappointed with how things turned out. The weatherman is da devil lol! I agree that more cars will show for ET, its a lot closer for everyone. In the past 3 years ive been able to do quite a bit of "testing" and ive got a much better idea of where to go and where not to0, so count on the races being closer to home next year. And possibly at one track or maybe two.

Ooo i forgot about the Valley, i just may make an appearance there! Have to see how the funds are looking by Sat. If not, good luck and if you want some flyers let me know ill mail them out :)
