Mike, cool stuff you got going on. Qustion is for a window switch install(p/n nos-15879nos) with relay. wired just like directions except arming circuit goes thru fuel press. safety switch first. Now I took the blue wire from relay to the RET-1 post on my 7al-3 box, and power lead to nos solenoids from this same post. Is this ok. Also a stupid question. this window switch just provides a ground circuit for the relay to activate, correct. I'm just not happy when stuff works, I need to now how it works. Thanks Troy

Assuming the Blue wire is the N2O Solenoid activation wire and comes off of Pin 87 of the Relay?? Then yes this is correct.
A couple of reasons for tieing the Ignition Retard wire into the N20 Solenoid wire.
One, obviously the Retrad wire will get Power when the N2O Solenoid goes active and retard timing.
The other reason is, when the Solenoid is not activated the Retard wire will find a Ground path through the Solenoid and keep the timing at the advanced setting. If you tie the Retard wire in differently then this, you allow the Retard wire to float, what happens then, is once the Voltage goes away from the Retard wire, it won't find a ground path and the timing will stay in the retard state.
Also be sure to Ground the other Retadrs steps on the 7AL-3 that your not using and install 0 degree retard chips.
Finally.
Yes the Window Switch supplies ground when the"state is true", once the "state is false" it removes ground from the Relay.
Whether the "state" is RPM or time.
I hope this helps,

Thanks Mike, great explanation. Not sure what you mean by grounding other steps though, RET-2,RET-3,RET-4 have 0 pills in them, instructions say RET-4 is not used. I thought the 0 pills were so that you got no avtivation from those modes, would I just run a ground wire from the post that I'm not using to ground. Thanks again.
