What's up
Just wondering if someone could help me out with getting the right cam for my setup. I have a 306 sbf with stock heads cobra upper and lower and a powerdyne 9pis supercharger. I will be getting new trickflow heads as well as the RPM 2 upper and lower intake. I would like to run anything in the ten's. I have about $3000. to spend? Oh ya i have a 175 shot of NOS to boot.

Thankshttp://upload2.postimage.org/96570/SmallStang.jpg (http://upload2.postimage.org/96570/photo_hosting.html)

306, Decent heads, Supercharger, Good intake manifold, 175 hp of NOS, and you want to run 10's?

TFS-1, TFS-2, F-303, B-303 w/1.7's. Just about any cam will allow you to accomplish your goal.

I would suggest buying a very nice set of heads up front, then get a REAL custom camshaft for the combination and set my goals a let higher.

Good Luck.

Ok sounds good to me what would be the best head that i could get for around $2500.00-$3000.00 ready to bolt on? Than i could always get a custom cam later. the intake that i wanted to go with was the edelbrock RPM 2. I am tryin to keep everything aroung the $3000.00 give or take.

Canfield 192cc 20* heads would be the ticket. I sell them for 1195.00 assembled with very good parts. FULL CNC versions are availble for under 2K with hyd roller stuff.

Ok sounds good to me how much would it cost for that head and a cam to match. If you know what type of increas it would give me that would be cool. I'm hoping to get the car into the 10's.

The heads are 1195.00 assembled with good parts and the springs to mact the cam. If you need rocker studs, they are 25 bucks. Then you have freight. How much? I dunno, I ain't a UPS guy! LOL. But I'd bet on about 50.00. The cams start at 369.00 for a steel billet custom ground CNC camshaft. There is none finer. Freight on that is 20 bucks. In a package deal such as this, I do the Cam Dr analysis for free. It takes me about 2 hours to do everything I do. I charge 30.00 for it but in a package, its free.
