NMCA Pro Stock Atco predictions

[John Langer]

- Pro Stock will have its largest field to date this year.
- Everyones cholesterol will be up on Saturday night.
- For the first time this year, a number 1 or number 2 qualifier will win the race.
- There will not be a repeat winner at this race.
- There will not be a repeat winning combination at this race.
- Sway will chew someones ass out about driving wreckless in the pits.
- I will be in the winners circle late Sunday night, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. :)

Well Ben, the reality is I was lucky and didn't get there without that luck and at $4.75 a gallon for diesel that savings right there will almost pay for my pistons rings so I'm staying at home;)

It looks like the cost of fuel is gonna keep alot of people from racing, remember the good ole days of $3.00 a gallon.

By the time Joliet comes around the fuel will be over 6 bucks per gallon I predict and even that race will be out of site for fuel cost.... Chris, Sandee and I had this discussion the other night. Spend all this money just to watch the car sit because we cant afford the $600-$700 in fuel costs for each race

I heard high of 97 and low of 79 on Saturday. It ul be a scorcher foe sho. The drivers have to wait till the racin' over before they can start on the coldies. I guess the tech guys can start earlier ;)

For me it was fuel prices and location, actually when the schedule was released and we saw Atco we said we were skipping that one, fuel prices entered the picture later. Heck, and I was only 50 points out of the points lead.

I can't speak for Jeff, but I think we both feel the same about racing, I would rather stay home and run Milan, and had a pretty good shot to win 1300, than leave thursday night and return home sometime monday midday.The scarifice is seemingly getting bigger the older my kids get and cost of living going up.
