Never been at Cecil for the TnT saturdays...just wondering on average crowds and all that. I want to come down Sat morning, but make it worth the drive.
-I have visions of what Atco is like on a friday night....PACKED!

I test on saturdays at cecil pretty often. It's usually not overly crowded and the junk tends to stay away on saturdays. I've never has an issue getting some runs in. I like to get there early since it dosen't fill up till closer to lunch time. I'll be down this saturday if you need any help with the car, unless you found yourself a crew.

Thanks for the info, sounds like it'll be worth it :) Hell no I don't have a crew, just myself as usual.
What time will you be down on Saturday, an extra pair of eyes and hands would be appreciated.
I'm gonna try to be there by around 930...hopefully.

I was there this past sat(the 17th)
Was not crowded but the track was so bad they would not even let us start running till about 12:30PM.
Even then it sucked.
My first pass I was spinning all the way down the track and even sideways at one point.
Anything with any power had problems.:axe:

That sucks but I don't feel that is the norm. I run 10+ saturday test and tunes per year for the past 5 years and the track is usually very good. But then again my car dosen't make any power.

friend of mine with a mid 8sec shoebox nova was there for a test and tune a few weeks ago and same thing.
He could only run a best of a 9.11 an he said the wheelie bar never even hit the track it was so bad.
One run he said it just lit the tires on the starting line.

Anyone from Cecil reading this?! Get that track ready on Saturday morning..weather is gonna be great.
Armed with a softer WG spring, I just wanna try to get some low power runs in.

They tryed their hearts out,the day I was there.
it had rained the day befour and they said water was seeping up thru the track.
they dragged the track for hours and then sprayed.
Some things they just cannot control.
