Right and wrong are both views of how people see the world; Some from the Left and Some from the Right...From the left "All are created equal", Except those who choose to take our freedoms( and/or monies through past presidents/fathers/friends oil manipulations connections);

Whereas on the right we have a "They're gonna take our guns", Bullets first MF,
slant that empies that "We the people" spend to much on the nations needy, a groing 90% of us, through health and human services.

I as an avid outdoorsman, carfreak, and union activist find myself challenged in these trying times where our feedoms are challenged, and our rights are relinquished due to outside forces, and something that I learned in my history classes that reminds me of the red fear of the fifties...

I see an america that is so bent on putting food on the table for their children, that they cannot and will not address the more serious issues of the day. I see an america that is ripe for the picking, I see an america that is afraid to use the second amendment ( see Don Imus, and some stupid pitcher that can not openly critisize Barry Bonds w/o fear of monetary damages)

America, this is our country black/white/purple/green, and only you can help fix it; not by voting on american idol, but by making informed decisions and voting for the people who truly do represent what you would picture a free america to be.

In closing, politics are in a nasty dirty shamefull state in the U.S. at this moment and to find those at blame for the situation all we have to do is look in the mirror and find those that chose to support the nearing oligarchy that we are currently experiencing.

Take a close look at the Roman Empire, set it side by side with the U.S. today; And look at the similarities... Those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it.

Lastly, Support our troops. They are doing what they are told, by the leaders that we elected, it is not their wish to be unknowing dealers of death and destruction, but the will of you and I.

Good post, Matt. There was a statement near the bottom talking about "the leaders that we elected" and the "will of you and I". Not me, I didn't elect any of these assholes that we presently have making these dumb ass decisions. Not me, I didn't vote for any of these assholes. They didn't get my vote. I refuse to vote for one asshole over another asshole, just because two assholes are running for the same office, NOT ME. I leave that for the mellon heads that don't think and just follow along like sheep.

If one candidate is an idiot, I have the right to vote for his opponent. If both candidates are idiots, I have the right to not vote for either of them. The right to vote also comes with the right to NOT vote.
