Your choice. But, we run the M&H. Vern House can hook you up with a price. 812-352-4000. If interested I have 2 pair of M/T with two passes and one pair of M&H with 10 passes.

You'll probably be better off calling him. 812-989-4903. His name is Art. Either set of tires will be in good shape. As Art said, we use the M&H's, but have done well with both.

Now i'm not as fast as you guys but i have done a good bit of playing on the 8.5's. My question is how many passes can you put on these tires before you can tell that they strat dropping off in the 60'? Reason i ask is i did a cam swap and around that time my 60's dropped by about a .10. Now i know i'm making more power off thwe line but i'm trying to figure out if the tires are dead also.

We use to get 10-12 on M&H's before the 60's would start to fall off. We did run 1.29 60ft times on the M&H's. They just didn't last long on the big HP, but longer than MT. Since Vern got Hoosier in the mix. We've been testing our car and Vern his for Hoosier on different compounds and sidewalls. What Hoosier has for sale to the public now is the best 8.5 tire ever made. There's over 25 passes on the set we went 5.53 @ 129 on at our last race with a 1.30 60ft. Vern has quiet a few passes on his as well and just had his car go 5.36 @ 131. The following pass he had a 1.25 60ft. Here is a link to the new Hoosier Outlaw 26X8.5 tire. Thanks for the info. Like i said i'm not as fast as you guys but my best on the M/H's was a 1.33 60' but it fell off in the 1/8th and only ran a 5.99. Thats the reason for the cam swap cause the old one was a motor cam and i swapped to a turbo cam and pretty much just started roasting the tires straight off the line. So i've stepped up to some 28x10.5's just to try to get the car to hook and retune my suspension then i'm dropping back to the little tires to play on again.
