Q16 street car shootout

Is windsor weekend a street car shoot out or for full tech race cars. i beleive in run what u brung,350 small block with twin turbo"s with nos. if it's street legal u should be able to run.the car should have plates ,insurance, mufflers,DOT tires.(no boots)etc. etc.as long as the car or truck passes a grey area safety.also the 1/4 mile track should be cut down to 1/8 mile, Because when you cruze down tecumseh road you hammer it from light to light. 1st gear 2nd gear, maybe 3rd and it"s over.Maybe you racers can think about that. the action will be faster, more time for test and tune.less track clean up.(oil downs).I"m talking from a spectader view, because after the 1/8 mile you nothing anyway. I would like to see the Q16 run like that ,this way it"s not the same car winning all the time.When the Q16 are done you can run a grudge match $25.00 a car, open up the 1/4 and have at errr (bragging rights) like the old days at 3B. don"t shoot me just my thought.

hey i agree with no rules, it was a real shame that 3 years ago a black chevy after the cruise had a battery malfunction and was disqaulified because he could not open his hood, but yet some idiot in a nova was allowed to run with no hood because they were afraid it would fall off, willy said he does not race to make money, he loves racing too much, good for you, then you must agree that these promoters love racing too and are not out to make money since its all going back to us.
