Just a Couple Of Questions?

this here is a no threat, no starting a fight with some one, just a couple of questions

#1 i know that the return lane is getting re-paved, what about the lighting?

#2 the score board... the last time i was there i could not tell if i ran a 11.43 or a 14.43, most of the light were out

#3 how are they going to call the classes to the lanes, they goning to call them all at once like they do normally, and you gotta listen for your name and who you are suppose to race, cause that will be kinda hard with alot of people/cars there, and i do not like the idea of trying to track down who you are suppose to race!

#4 follows the p.a system.... it sucks!! no offense but it does!

i am sitting on the fence, as long with a couple of my fellow racers, were not calling names, or saying where we are going to go, i know you dont like chuck, and most of here don't as well, but what kinda show are you guys planning on putting on? yeah your promising bigger pay outs, but what else? not every racer is about the money, what about jr dragsters? there has been no talk about them!! they love racing just as much as any one of you fools insulting and saying what it should be like, there heart is in it just as much as yours, if not more cause they do not care about money, they do it cause they love to race..... yeh winning money is nice, but its not the point..... its about having FUN!!!!!! and the thrill, yeah chuck fucked around... but yet you all had a show to show up too that you did not have to worry about, everything was taken care of...so you showed up and raced and had a good time with your friends isn't that what its all about???? or atleast most of it??? like i said i am on the fence not taking anysides, i just want to know what the other has to offer besides MONEY!!
the way i look at it gbm has better facilities, and a better set up, maybe it will be just me and chuck there doing hot laps, but atleat i will get more racing in lol, what is ww inc willing to offer? AND I AM GOING TO SAY AGIAN BESIDES MONEY!!!!

1/ As far as lighting I would like to see them make improvements to the aim of the lights. You are absolutely blinded when you turn back on the return road off the track.

2/Score board and timing system worked perfect when I was last there mid Oct.

3/I would guess that any heads up classes would be called to the back of the lanes then a rep would organize the racing pairs and move them up accordingly just like it has been done.

4/The PA is difficult to hear in many areas of the track. Does St. Thomas use a radio station to broadcast similar to GB? That would be nice as I have always used it at previous WW's

I am unclear so perhaps Chuck can clarify. I am of the impression that the Jr dragsters as well as the dragster classes are regular points weekend races but sponsored by the WW event, not promoted as part of the Windsor Weekend.
As far as other offers, I read somewhere on here though I can't find it know that they are looking at some sort of show cars similar to the jet cars etc at GB.

Now I'm not part of WW Inc. so don't take this as gospel, I'm simply putting in my .02.

Finally some REAL question's I will answer the best I can and I hope to your satisfaction.

Lighting we are getting the big work light's like on the 401 they are about 30 feet tall desiel powered with other outlet's for more we plan on having atleast three so that the shut down and return road will be lit up like a christmass tree

the score board has had issue's in the past but the entire timing system was rewired last year and they found a coupler that was hit by lightning at the end of the year and have had no problem's since

class's will be called one at a time and the head's up class's will be paired up just like alway's

The PA is not a problem they have there own radio station just like GB so it should not creat problem's

I never said I don't like Chuck he has helped me personally in the past and he has started a good event but we felt that it need's to go to the next level and we tried to keep him a part of it but it didn't work out so we will go it alone and see where it take's us.

We have alway's planed on having JR's but I found out there are only 5 or 6 in Essex county and was shocked to talk to some parent's that said they don't think the JR's have any place at WW because it's too crowded and out of control, so I will leave it at this, I want them but I don't know what they want so if we can get enuff I will have a class for them I would prefer it

As for what we want it don't matter what WE want it only matter's what YOU want we are just here to make sure this get's done right we rented the track and we promise EVERYONE get's a chance to voice there conserns and opinion's and get treated the way they should be with respect and we will payout ALL money after expenses as for show car's and jet's and firework's etc, it's all up to the racer's and there family's to decide if we get a majority vote for a jet car you got it, but remember the money that it take's come's out of the payout's the more you want the less there is to payout it's just that simple.
