DRIVER R/T ET MPH

(L) Joe Newsham - 0.028 4.75 @ 129
(W) Richard Sexton - 0.036 4.45 @ 166

Well, it appears Sexton is "still the man". It was a great race for about 300 feet. Newsham was hanging tough until he had to lift because the car was heading toward the centerline as the wheels were in the air. Great race as Sexton goes on for his third 4.45 pass of the weekend. Congrats to Richard Sexton and all at Gil Mobley Motorsports.

It has now been reported, Newsham did not lift. He suffered transmission failure after he shifted the car into second. Either way, great race and I'm sure these two will be back next month to do battle once again!
