(L) Keith Sexton - 0.035 5.71 @ 91
Great drag race for about 200 feet. Newsham had a 1.13 60 ft. as he set a personal best and wins the battle over the Gil Mobley Motorsports machine. Sexton was hanging tough until he suffered tire shake about 250 feet out and drifted towards the wall and had to get out of it.

Hall and Sexton were even off the tree. Sexton lit the candles and backed up his previous pass and Hall made a great run but it just wasn't enough to catch Sexton.
Well, the scene is set for what should be an exciting final between Newsham and Richard Sexton. There is certainly some history between these two cars as Newsham as been known to be the bounty hunter on the Gil Mobley Motorsports sponsored machine. Joe was quoted as saying, "To be the man you have to beat the man". Sexton will have lane choice over Newsham in the finals.
