(L) Jerry Morgano - 0.041 5.42 @ 104
Dead off the starting line, both mustangs hung the wheels and were riding the wheelie bars. Morgano lifted and Newsham drove it out for the win.
(W) Mo Hall - 0.057 4.87 @ 152
(L) Charlie Dolbin - 0.56 6.98 @ 82
Both cars purged the nitrous and the #4 and #5 qualifiers squared off. Both cars were almost dead even off the start. Dolbin left and spun the tires, peddled, then went into tire shake and shut it down. Hall drove around him for the win light.

Great drag race. Sexton was on his game on the tree and Bradford had to make up some. Bradford gave him a run for his money, but started to move toward the wall, drove it back, but just didn't have enough for Sexton.
