Ray Johnson - - 5.65 @ 94
Newsham was on a pass and gets the car into the 4.40's for the first time in competition this season. Johnson got the car to hook, but he couldn't keep the front end down and had to finally life about 330 feet out.
Keith Sexton - - 4.66 @ 152
Mo Hall - - 4.69 @ 155
Pair of nitrous cars going at it. Hall started breaking up and smoking after he went out about a 100 feet but stayed in it. Sexton's car had header flames coming out and looked good, but he did not improve on his first run.
Richard Sexton - - 4.46 @ 166
Charlie Dolbin - - 4.56 @ 155
Nice run by both cars as it is always a battle between these two. Sexton takes over the #1 spot with what is believed to be the fastest 1/8 pass by a 10.5 car here at Cecil County.
Jerry Morgano - - 5.29 @ 131
Mike Bradford - - 4.77 @ 151
Morgano left HARD. He carried the wheels for over 200 feet before he finally got out of it to set the front end on the ground. Bradford made another clean run.
Dave Tolley - - 5.38 @ 140
Tolley drove through severe tire spin and goes on to place himself into the field.
