(May 3rd) - Saturday Night Street Car Shootout brought to you by Cecil County Dragway and Finishline Performance

The Drag Radial class is brought to you will special thanks from the following sponsors: PM Construction, Bigtime Automotive

Chris Little - 5.14 @ 146
Ben Byrd 5.35 @ 141

A pair of turbo cars both left strong and Little pulled away to take the win light

Richie Stine - 4.99 @ 145
Jesse Lambert - 5.70 @ 133

Lambert started to carry the wheels and had to peddle. Stine went down for the first 4 second drag radial pass of the season.

John Balinksy - 5.70 @ 139
Ev Bernardo - 5.36 @ 143

Balinsky seems to be a little down on power this weekend as the car left sluggish. Bernardo went on for a nice clean pass

Brett Hull - 5.51 @ 148
Chris Crusse - 5.37 @ 138

Hull car left soft and as he took off it looked like an airplane as he carried the wheels towards the 330 marker. Both cars made nice passes.

Richard Bach - 5.37@ 133
Ken Quaticcio - n/t

Here we go, the first small block on the line, Bach's car left nice and makes a clean pass as it appears the motor is sound after hurting it last month on a test pass. Quaticcio appeared to have some problems as he will not make a pass.

Alex Vrettos - 4.98 @ 153

Vrettos made a straight pass, and is the second car in the 4's as he takes over the number one position from Stine.

Chris Evans - 5.12 @ 140
Steve Drummond - 5.13 @ 139

Wow, great drag race. Both cars were even all the way down the track. Both Drummond and Evans successfully kept their cars tied down, and they both made great passes to put them solidly in the field

Paul Major - 5.51 @ 132

Major's car was smoking as it left the line. Just heard word from the starting line he is leaking fluid. Major's car went out about 300 feet and started to lift the front wheels, he did a quick peddle and drove on through.
