(May 3rd) - Saturday Night Street Car Shootout brought to you by Cecil County Dragway and Finishline Performance
The Outlaw 10.5 class is brought to you will special thanks from the following sponsors: Harris Motorsports, Shannon Mechanical Heating & A/C, Ferrick Construction, Red Alert Refinishing, Montana Brothers, Competitive Wiring
Kevin Phelps - 7.49 @ 62
Dave O' Donnell - n/t
Phelps peddled and had some problems and aborted the run. O'Donnell's car never really left the starting line as it appears the transmission woes continue.
Ray "Hollywood" Johnson - 8.52 @ 79
Joe Newsham - 4.65 @ 142
Newsham was on a pass and carried the wheels almost to the 1/8. When he sat the front end down he got a little loss, but still made a nice pass. Johnson left the line and went out past the 60 foot marker and went up in tire smoke as he overpowered the track.
Mo Hall - 4.68 @ 160
Jerry Morgano - 5.62 @ 143
Hall's car left nice and smooth and carried the wheels out past the 60 block. Morgano's car spun the tires but he tried to drive through it.
Mike Bradford - 4.87 @ 147
Dave Tolley - 5.41 @ 142
Nice pass by Bradford as they just put the car back together last night. Tolley's car spun off the hit and he had to peddle.
Charlie Dolbin - 4.60 @ 164
Keith Sexton - 4.51 @ 160
Not sure if Sexton is driving the car, but he made the best so far in the round. Dolbin's car left and started to skate towards the wall and drove it back in the groove for a nice pass.
Richard Sexton - 4.51 @ 166
Sexton's car left hard and he takes the number one spot after first round of qualifying by .04 over his son.
