Too far for me too. Maybe I can make one or two of the closer races.

60s aren't easy. I'm not surprised that this early in the year that the fastest times were in the 70s.

Sure would like to be the first car in the 50s. :-D

I can't get into OSM site. So who was #1 qualifer, what was the ET and speed and who won?

Unless my memory is failing, I was first to the 60s on 8.5s. :-) Sorry, had to dig up that dead horse and kick it for the fun of it! LOL

1st to the 50s, 5th to the 50s...I just want to get there and have a place to race within a reasonable drive.

Think its time to start talking to Windy Hollow again? I sure would like my new jacket and the NOS bottle for 3rd in points. I have a feeling we'll never see the fruits of our efforts.

No, nothing else has been said about Windy Hollow. I hope there or I-40 Dragway down in Crossville, TN will work out.

Windy Hollow is about 50 miles farther me, but I-40 is about the same as US60 and the Valley.

So what's new? Made any changes to the bumper dragger? :D

I'm 100 miles south of Louisville. A OSM race somewhere in the state of KY would be awesome. Plenty of cars down here!

I hope to make one or two OSM races later in the year. I've been to ET before and Terre Haute is conceivable.

i went a 5.72 125.72 pedaling,5.74 125.48 doing the same thing again and went to sleep at the tree in the hot lap finals. it was a long day with the weather conditions.

Actually, the track was hooking as good as Hardinsburg, if not better. Even in the day time. I had back to back 1.32 60fts. We had a small problem with the car and could figure it out at the track. I think we've fixed our problem, but will be checking over everything tomorrow just to make sure. It sure would be nice to get all the OSCA guys back together at a race again. Kelly, I heard a rumor that the OSM was coming to Ohio Valley in the near future. Would this possibly be this season, 2009 or is it just a rumor?

I would not be opposed to it... i need to get with Terry. But as of right now, it is just a rumor, neither of us have talked about it. I am open to working with him though. I think it would benefit us all.

Craig, I made some MAJOR changes for this year, I think it will catch some by suprise!! As far as OSM, I plan on making the ET/Terre Haute races, but would love to see Kelly have some 8.5 action at the valley.

Hopefully Hardinsburg will open sometime this summer WITHOUT !! Kevin and you could try working a deal with the track operators to move the two repeated tracks dates to OVOS and US60. Geographically speaking that would make a real nice circuit and good balance for most people that I know.

We are already committed to the dates we have with the tracks we have, however there is always the possibility of adding in another race somewhere. But thats a big IF for this year. Now, next year is a whole new ballgame :) I wonder how much JD would be willing to talk with anyone else after Kevin cocked it all up there. Sorry, i just feel that things were handled extremely un-businesslike down there & you guys were treated like crap. I have plenty going on in my life too but that is no excuse not to run a business like it should be. *end mini rant* lol

P.S. I hope The Burg does open up so you guys have a local place to race! Im sure whoever got the track back is going to have a little bit of cleanup to do. But im sure they wont let it go under.

Hey Tim, are you going to the race in Crossville? www.bountyrace.com I-40 Dragway has added Outlaw 8.5. That's about 105 miles for me, so about the same as US60 and the Valley.

We're in the middle of building a house too. I've had zero time for racing so far. The motor is still on the engine stand. But I'll be ready if the Valley runs 8.5 in a couple weeks and I'll be at the Bounty Race at I-40 on the 31st. Just need a couple days to work on the car.

Hiya.... no i havent although its certainly been on my mind to have an event at Beech Bend. That is one of my favorite tracks to go to.
