- There will be (2) upsets during the first round of the shoot out (meaning a lower qualified car will beat a higher qualified car on the ladder)
- Sometime between noon on Friday and 8pm on Sunday it will rain.
- If the DA is under 1800', the record will be broken again.
- There will be a 420" vs 525" in the final.
- The winning car will be either black or white.
- There will be 420" motors qualified 1 and 2.
- Someone will get real drunk at Camerons BBQ and get burned on the grill.

I don't think it was any of those things. I suspect a faulty parachute lever, as the chute was out well before the finish line on most passes.

I have the other half of the time slip. He had me by .12 at the 1/8 and .12 at 1000'. I can only assume that he would have had me by .12 at the stripe if he didn't "mis-judge" the finish line. I went a .63, I would assume that he would have went a .51.
