I have a 28 by 10.5 on an 8 inch prostar now with 5.5 backspace,I massaged the inner fender well and rolled the inside of the outer lip,it fits good,my question is: With a 10 inch wheel with 6.5 backspace,will the same tire fit? This is a foxbody coupe stock axles,no mini tubs.Thanks.

Yes. Your tread will be in the same location as it is now. Only change is the bulge.

yea i ran one on my car it is a stock rear end no mini tubs only 1/2 inch cut of each side for the aerospace brakes and it worked with a 9.25 weld aluma star and i also run a 325-50 radial on it with no problem, oh and i have a quarter inch spacer also, anyway hope this helps..

you will probably have to break out the hammer again and you might want to upgrade the stock axles also. i know i beat the crap outta mine to get it to quit rubbing the inner fender well.but they will fit.

i would think you would have to roll the lip on the quarter panel for expansion no?

Hasnt had stock axles in it for a while.Thanks,I keep telling the guy everyone says they will fit,he keeps saying they wont,looks like a good time anyway for a minitub.
