valve guides

What is everyone using for valve guides bronze or steel?

Reason I ask is that I was told that bronze guides were prone to crack and chunk off in gasoline turbocharged applications. Just thought I'd ask around.

i guess if you have not enough or too much clearance... maybe someone else has had that experience... 8)
